Got the Ego Lv1 but what reg

Hello, bought myself the LV1 the weekend and was wondering does the Ninja SLP regulator work well with this gun. it was shooting fine the weekend but ive read that a normal reg would suit it better, can anyone shed any light on this

I found that with an SLP my Ego 11 would not shoot over 280.I have heard that many people are ok with an SLP but to be on the safe side I run my ninja regs at 500 and they work fine. Ninja recommend 500-550psi.
