Hi guys,

Was looking at the possibility of getting an action camera for my I5s, and have a couple of questions

1. What brand can you recommend
2. The i5s come with a go pro mount, is this universal or just for a go pro,
3. Will a camera take a paintball hit? Are any available with paintball in mind and if not what aftermarket products will make it safe, i.e a dive case

Thanks
Russ

Check the comparison videos on youtube, some of the GoPro alternatives are really good.

The GoPro style mount is used on a lot of accessories.

If you get an underwater style sealed case they can take a hit but the audio suffers unless you mod and run an external mic.

Im really looking at these

The bundles seem really good
I’m going to say that they look like a lot of money for 4K camera ‘bundles’ that don’t really have much in them
(Based on a quick look without seeing much information on specifications)
For half their prices you could get a 4K camera, large accessory packs, SD card with double their capacity .....

Unless the buyer knows the specifications they need then almost any unbranded current Action Camera with a case will easily do the job.
Any extra money can be put to a second or even third camera to cover all angles and though it means even more editing then multiple cameras cover the failings such as a barrel cam mostly filming the ground, a head cam filming the wall you are leaning around etc
