after reading yet another "what should i get for my first marker" i thought to myself maybe there could be a sticky which stated what good starter marker is or just list the main bulk of all the markers and say what there strengths and weaknesses are for newer people to look at. im only sayin it as im bored of reading the same old threads (no offence if you put one)
regards
Matt

Great idea

What might be a good idea is to have people who own or have owned the markers to provide a quick review, as well as the suggested list, along with a photo so peeps new to the game (like me) can get a good idea of what they are getting..

Also as most people seem to be buying 2nd hand equipment, it would be good to note things to be aware of when buying the marker, from a point of view of settings, servicing, spares, etc.

I havnt fired my 2nd hand Ion in anger yet, but when I do I'll gladly provide a body of text based upon my experiences of it to date.
