Im looking for a good type recball gun under 300. The field near me is mostly wooded but it does have some speedball so the gun has to be versatile and upgradable, preferably black and not a tippmannany ideas?

I play with a GTV1, made by Genesis Trading for Paintball inc. Stock, it cost about $100. It's a very simple, sturdy blow-back design,with a verticle powerfeed, which can easily be upgraded. It takes most Spyder parts. I'd recommend a new barrel, expansion chamber or in-line regulator, pressure balanced valve, venturi bolt, eletronic trigger frame and a 12 volt Revolution. Add a 20 oz CO2 tank or a cheap air system, and you are ready to rock!

even though you are not looking for a tippmann the 98 custom and a-5 are great rec ball guns, and spyders are good too just whatever you get upgrade what you can to make it best for you. good luck

There are lots of good rec ball guns for under £300. Auto Mags. Infernos. Autocockers. All good guns and you also have the ability to upgrade them with extras such as barrels, remote hoses etc. Planet have a good range as does Smartparts also put a thread up on the board and somebody will have one for sale.

for woodlands i would highly reccomend an automag. I picked mine up for £250 with an airsytem. Also infernos are cool, easy to maintain, upgradable and relatively cheap.

Spyders are good rec guns they are pretty cheap and you can upgrade them i suggest if you get a spyder the first upgrade is a new barrel followed by a reg and nitros system them a lcd electronic trigger frame but it is mostly up to you
