Good or Bad time to buy a Ego

Would i be correct in saying I'd be crazy to buy an Ego 06 now?

I'm thinking this on the assumtion that in november an O7 might be out, which although more expensive, it'll be the new must have. Plus this could drop the price of the 06 even more?

i was thinking abut it, and i recon when the market gets flooded (which it should) with e-teks, it'll bring down the price of the higher end egos.... so im going to wait a month or two

Well, if you wait untill the 07 comes out, and you dont like it, you should be able to pick up an 06 for cheap

Planet are very clever when it comes to ego's

They do not produce raw bodies which means you cannot build your own. The e-tek is aimed at a completely different market, meaning it will not affect the re-sale of older models too much. Coupled with the fact that people are reluctant to sell their ego's (with the exception of the gat whores! ) because they are such great markers

Take for example the 05 ego £700 new, now worth £350
Angel speed 05 £700 new, now worth £150.

I have word from a high ranking person at planet that there is no ego 7.

You can pick up an 05 for £350 or an 06 for £500. By far the best gat ever made.

Even at those prices you are getting a bargain!

I reckon you wont see many ETEK's second hand for a while.
If you do they will be more or less the same as they are so new.

I really cant see how anyone would want an etek (apart from whores) when the 05 -06 egos are going 2nd hand for about the same price...

theres never a bad time to buy a ego

after using my etek the first time this week i actually prefer it to the 05 -06 egos , these things riiip! and like spreadz said i doubt people will be in a rush to sell them

it's currently a twitchy time to buy a marker.... The 06 season is currently winding down and pimps will soon be getting rid of their toys in preporation for the 07 kit. Companies will the showing new products at both LA (NPPL) and World Cup (PSP) in a month or two and old marker value will drop in light of this.

Weigh up home much you are planning to use your maker over the 'off season' because people will be dropping money on the new line of goods (DM7s, custom Angel1s, Onyx, Shocker NXT etc) after christmas and will also be wanting to flog their old toys.
