Good Newbie Guns

Hi I am thinking of getting into paintball and would like some advise on markers. Iv got about £200ish max to spend I would like to get one that runs on compressed air. So some of that money will be spent going halfs on a tank and filling station. Any suggestions?

Look for an ion with air in the classifieds mate, thats you best bet

yeah, a seconed hand ion, or a cocker, you can get them at good prices

i wouldnt start off with a cocker, they can misbehave a lot more than an ion

ION is the best/cheapest gat you could get on the classifieds + theres a few knocking around with air .

Don't rule out Promasters, about the same price and I think I would prefer a promaster over an Ion

Also have a look at older Angels. They are a bit weighty but they build 'em well and they are very low maintenance (and quick too! )

And dirt cheap at the minute. When I first started I picked up an Angel IR3 for £150, was a great starter marker. Never failed me once. I've seen them go for under £100 now, still great markers for the price.
