Need to get a new gun and a better one than my custom 98, i already have 12v hopper and nitro so what should i get?

buy a stock cocker 4 about $350 i think online then sell your custom 98 and buy a new barrel and u got one sweet mid range cocker on nitro

Here's the fun part about cockers. You can upgrade them with relative ease. A stock cocker with nothing touched can probably shot around 6-8 bps (just a guess). But all you need to do to increase it is get a trigger job (get the thing timed better) most shlubs at the field that shot cockes should be able to do this (or better yet, show you how). After that you can piece your own custom cocker together with the parts you want.

I bought a 2002 AutoCocker from Paintballgear.com for 340. You will need a new barrel right away, a toilet paper role will fire more accurately that the stock barrel. Then you can upgrade parts as needed.
I just purchased a 2002 cocker, and what would be a good barrel for it? My intimidator I am also buying comes with a J&J barrel. Will that fit on the cocker? Thanks.
Yes the timmy barrel will fit the cocker but, the barrel is only so-so.
My recomendation is to save up and get the freak. 8 in 1 barrel system, you can't go wrong.
