good barrel??

I just purchased a TIPPMAN 98C SMART PARTS BARREL. I read some reviews on the barrel at bpreview.com, and the average rating was a 9.7. That is a really good rating, but I want to here some other peoples opinions. Good or bad? I got the barrel for $37 and I have been to many paintball stores online, and thier prices ranged from $75-$120. I hope I have a really good kick butt barrel.

Yup, Smart Parts makes good barrels...

Smarts parts are good.
There are a few different grades of smarts parts such as the All American and Tear drop and Freak system.
They are all good barrels the only other options besides that are maybe a Dye boomstick or the Flatline barrel, that will give your shot an extra 100 feet and bring in your long distance accuracy but you lose a bit of the up close accuracy

I am pretty sure that is is an All American Stainless Steal. I have looked at pics of them, and they look identicle to the one that I just purchased.

I had one for a cocker it shot awesome. You should be happy with it.

I think I will be happy with it. Is it a big sound reducer? The reason I ask is, when I play games one of the main reasons I get tagged is because the gun is too loud. If the barrel makes it more quite that would help me out a lot.

The porting helps some with the sound, but I dont think that its going to be a huge difference.

Ok. Thanks. The barrel will fit on a Tippmann Model 98, right? I havn't received it yet. Just want to make sure.

It will fit if its a tippman 98 barrel, like the tippman 98 most guns have personalised threads
