Honestly I have 7 ebay cameras, all relegated to my shelf after a days play and disappointed footage when I get home, I now run a hero 3 and a hero 2, worth every penny. Though I wish it wasn't so expensive, mind you saying that go pro has released their £99 camera now too, effectively an upgraded hero 2, worth a look!

i am slowly leaning towards the contour roam. GoPros are an option but i'm not a fan of the box shape, i find the bullet/tube shapes looks better and easier to mount
I've got a Roam2 and I love it! Much more subtle than a GoPro and Contour support paintball as an activity for their cameras :)

Here is some footage of the pump day GeeTee arranged at campaign. Taken on a bullet style hd cam (HD 12mp CMOS as linked above). This was a few weeks ago with low sun but the light was still good.

For the next games I'm moving the camera mounting as I did not expect the hopper to be "in shot" quite so much, but its all a learning curve.

Regards,
Colin.

i realy wish i could have made that day...

my action cams are getting temperamental and i want to replace them with new cameras.
i have had a thought... do you think that because im using the biggest memory cards & unbranded ones???

when i compair the footage quality my old ones are ok for a 1MP cmos sensor @720p@25fps... but it could be better
