Hi guys,

The time has come for me to move on, I just don't seem to be shooting paint as much as I once did and I have other rather expensive hobbies that I seem to be doing more often.

One thing has me stumped is my Guerrilla Air bottle. It is a .8L 4500psi carbon tank which has been used for 1 walk on and 1 big game. The retest date is 2016 but the born date is 2011. I am not sure how much this will impact on sale price.

I was thinking of putting it up for £100 including postage and jacket. Do you guys think this is a reasonable asking price?

Cheers

Dave

It's 3 years in to 15 years of life, so still worth a good sale
Second hand value is what someone is willing to pay
My general depricitiation formula for cylinders is:
Purchase price + 2 test fees / 15 * remaining life - remaining tests

Average fees at £25 and it's £200 / 15 (= £13.33 per year)
£13.33 * 12 (= £160)
£160 - £50 = £110

This is just over your £100 estimate
However the most common sale price for cylinders is £80
If no one is keen for it then the sale probably won't happen until its £80, but ask for your higher price and someone after that bottle etc would be happy to pay more

That's good news. I did like the little tank was really good for the few speed ball games i played.

Thanks for the help guys :)
