i was wondering as i havent used many goggle systems as yet which are actually better in terms of comfort, protection and fogging the jt spectra thermal proteous 2 chameleons(mouthful) or the jt flex thermals ????

Most important factor to consider if you're looking to buy a new pair of goggles is how they feel on you. Everyone has a differently shaped face & head, & goggles which may feel they fit like a second skin on one person may feel incredibly uncomfortable on someone else. Comfort is very much a personal thing!
Basically any thermal lensed goggles should perform around the same for fogging. I'm lucky in that I tend NOT to fog up, but many people (especially those who wear glasses) do have this problem so in that case it's worth considering the ease of having a fan fitted.

Liz is right about the thermal lenses, they all perform roughly the same. If you are one of those peope who are prone to fogging you could always buy a fan but they're a bist costly if you don't need one.

If you've got a munster-style head like me then a Proteus might not fit too good :) Try before you buy...

Both the goggle systems you have asked about use the same lenses, and will therefore perform equally, again if you want to try them on I have a proteus and a flex 7 give me a shout.
