Anyone got any recommendations?
Which one pros?cons?
Personal views?

As the r7 is newer does anyone have one and know how durable they are?
Does the r7 have a uk dealer?

Many thanks in advance

I used an R7 at the weekend, would highly recommend one. Very good quality of video and sound, simple to use and it fits well on to your setup.
I would purchase one if I wasn't about to emigrate.

I don't think the R7 is much more than the go-pro, for the sheer fact it fits so well to a paintball gun I would personally have the R7. It can no doubt be as versatile as any other with the bracket it comes with

I have 3 gopro heros. 2 at 1080 and 1 at 720. They'd are simply superb. Picture is excellent in both is modes. .h264 compression is reasonible too. The files are fairly large, so you'll need a 16gb card to capture a days play in hd.

One thing to notes is that the field of view is directly linked to the image sensor. You'll get 180 degrees at 1080 and around 120 degrees at 720.

Cheers for the comments
I've used a mates go pro mounted under my barrel, I was impressed with the quality only downfall I though was when mount in this position going into a bunker via a superman I would be worried about damaging it. Where as the r7 sitting up top would cure this problem.

Does anyone know of a uk dealer? just to have a chat and maybe see about setting it up on my geo so I could get the feel for it?
Or would anyone attending round3 of the cpps mind me having a look?

Cheers again
I'm swaying toward the r7 :)
