Gloucestershire teams / sites

I have just moved into this neck of the woods (trust me when i say woods) and im interested in knowing what teams are in and around the Gloucester area and where to go for practice.

Not looking to join a team just someone to practice alongside and have a dialogue with.

Well there's a reball training facility in Abingdon, Oxford way, there's Skirmish in Bristol but Glos your probably got more luck around Birmingham. Pretty sure there's a tournie player friendly site round Kidderminster somewhere. I personally train and Play with Bridgend for the CPPL and whore myself at the NSPL yet I live in Swindon. In fact if I remember back to The Carmarthen Cougar days we had a player from Gloucester back then but that was Bristol Indoor training which I think ceased to be sometime ago.

Site at Kiddy doesnt do tourney anymore.

NPF at Bassetts pole or even Penkridge are good places to go to.

Bristol is a good training ground, at least certainly was. Have a look around the NSPL team list and see if there are some near you as that's your neck of the woods.

Thanks for the info lads. I think the reball is the best option, lets just hope it doesnt get ignored like fireball gym did a few years back (hell of a shame!!).


However, like ive said if there is any teams in and around this area who needs a +1 for some drills feel free to contact me.

Seems to be doing quite well, they only run when they have enough bookings and as they only seem to rent out the sports hall when they need it keeps costs down.

Ive been playing on and off since i was 15, totalling 13 years now

I will pm you my details for when i get enough info to get things sorted so we both got somewhere to go.

Hey I live in cheltenham and train at oxford reball pretty much every time its on. £38 for the day, can't beat the price! it is pretty much the nearest place for tourny!
