Gimme big

How would one go about attracting a big event here in Texas? It seems to me that we have a lot of players and we are in the center of the US. Why don't we have an NPPL or PSP event here? Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston have all got ample facilities. Are ya'll worried about the language barrier? We can speed up and lose the wierd conjunctions if that's what it takes. Come on and give us a chance.

btdt, bluelite. Back in the day the old NPPL routinely tried to find a good home for the fourth event of the year. Dallas was tried at least once but the problem was the 4th event comes in August and nobody in their right mind wants to be Texas in August.
