Does anyone know if Ghillie Suits are worth buying?I'm guessing there good if you play in the woods alot, or long grass, but, i'd like to know if i should buy it when the place i usually go is all woods.

its alot more than just the suit, it depends on your skill to blend in and your playing style as the human eye can detect movement ten times more effectively than colour. So if you like crawling very very slowly or not moving an entire game just to possible take a shot then perhaps it may interest you. But if you like getting stuck in dont bother just get some camo.

Also the suit doesnt make you invisible it just breaks up up your shape so your have to configure the suit to the area your playing or your stand out like a sore thumb.

So my advice would be if you wanna stay back or crawl around all day only using about half a hopper and you wanna take the time of maybe missing the first game every time to set your suit up then yeah go for it, if not just get some good camo and learn how to use it as your average punter will not know what to look for so you could ambush them just as well.

Having said all that i would pay to watch a guy playing sup'air in one :D
hope that helps a bit

i have a couple of these but i use for air rifle hunting, they do come in different shades for all types of woodlands & fields for all the seasons. getting the right one is a must or you might aswell wear a flashing light on your head :D they are good tho ive had rabbits and a fox no more than 2ft away

I cant really help you but i always think when people wear Ghillie suits there too scared to get shot and just want to sit there and try sniping people which doesn't normally work (well from what i have seen anyway lol)

i would say the same as DV8 if you want to get stuck in theres no point in buying one, i mean i would say personally they are just over the top for paintballing, but thats my opinion, but if you want to sit back and pick people off, then yes go for it get one, but if you would rather not sit back then dont waste the money, save it for something better maybe ?

keep your money then buy more paint.....then just go wild on the field...shoot anything that moves. you'll have loads more fun.
i would agree too, the best thing to do is run is all gunz blazing and just go through pod after pod, it is so much more fun than pciking people off, one by one and shooting 5 balls a round

i would rather waste 500 balls
than waste 5

why?

You will find that the ability to sneak up and effectively camoflauge yourself is a TRUE art in itsself. To be honest, that would interest me more than going in like a an Al Qaeda conscript with the Kalashnikov going full auto and screaming about Allah.......

Done properly a Ghillie suit can be superb fun, but after speaking to a couple of army types, they usually used a suit with pockets and some webbing they stuffed with foliage taken from the terrain they were sniping from.
