Getting the 90 elbow off of a Eclipse reg collar

Hey all, just wanting some tips for getting a 90 elbow off the reg collar so I can slide it off, I tried warming it with a hairdryer and prying it off with an allen key, and I tried putting it in a towel over it and putting it in a vice but that did little except breaking part of the 90 elbow (now fixed) and I don't have a spare elbow.
So any tips would be appreciated

tiz just brute force mate, i have a large set of mole grips. i unscrew it whilst still attched. so you have a bit of force behind it

Get the correct size spanner or adjustable, leave the colar on the inline reg and gun.. Its makes it alot easier to hold..

Once the seal of the Loctite is broken it will come away easily..

Done it, it worked, many thanks, now one geo is getting massive drop off which I have found is the reg (switched the regs on the geo's and the other was fine) and I changed the way the spring was, just to check and it was fine, now I tried lubing the piston but still nothing...any ideas?
