Getting into the sport

Right i will keep this short,

I have recently gone Paintballing for the 3rd time and i REALLY enjoy the sport and i am thinking of getting into it, but i know barley anything about it. i know the basics about equipment already but i need to know things like where can i go to play with my own equipment, maybe about getting into a team and things like that and even local Paintballing shops i live in Coventry.

p.s i need to get info on masks what are good and stuff and maybe a custom paint job thanks

With masks, if you get the oppurtunity try a couple on, either ask people at walk-ons or if a site has some for sale they should be more than happy to let you try them on. See if the mask is comfortable, if you're happy with the amount of protection (some masks cover more of your face than others, especially if you have a larger face), if you're happy with the lens and field of view.

We haven't got any paintball shops that I know of around here buddy. If its woodsball you like there's Predator-sport paintball in Ansty, they hold monthly walk-ons I believe, and theres National Paintball Fields just outside Tamworth. NPF have a monthly game called Diamond Wars which is essentially their walk-on, but own-gunners can join in any weekend games usually. Never been Predator-sport myself, but NPF has a pretty well stocked on-site shop with plenty of masks to try.

If its tournaments you want to play, try getting along to an open training session at CPPS just outside Cannock, see whats going on, join in with some games. Check out the CPPS forum on here under the Tournament forum.

The next round of the CPPS is a week on Sunday, so head up there and check out all the vendors from around the UK. They will be selling everything you could possibly want and you'll be able to try masks out etc.......and check out supair while you're there
