The query is I'm moving to German for three years and was wondering if any body knew if there where any weapons/firearms acts/laws that apply to paintball markers over there?

If so what do these intail?

any help would be much appreciated!

more than you could even imagine !! if i were you i'd move somewhere else.

(i think it's as good as illegal over there isn't it?)

you're probably best getting in touch with a german supplier of goods and seeing what you need to do and where you can play.

i have been informed that you can only play on USAF bases, hence maxs being held in bitberg (an usaf base). all other places are illegal

from what i can remember from living there you can't play feck all on public land but there's a pssibility on your own land possibly. It's all to do with the way their insurance works and the fact that you can buy guns etc etc...

also the usaf bases you can play ball...

Unless it has changed, you can't have a black marker over there..to do with the real gun appearence or words to that effect and as for playing on your own land? well no one can own woodland in germany anymore as it belongs to the people...again a sort of hangover from the past events....might well have changed since unification but at least it's easier to play paintball in Germany rather than Australia..you want restrictions try there :eek:
