geo2 screen problem

i have a problem with my geo2 where the backlight stays on when i play, it will drain a 9v per a day, any help will be great, cheers

If you go into the Hardware menu can you confirm what time limit you have set your backlight to?

tried that, it was set at i believe 3 seconds, turn it up or down , it still stays on, if i turn the timer off i cant anything
