Geo2 accents

On the Geo2 there are two silver accents either side of the back of the bolt. I need to get these off for some annodising but I cant find a way to do it without serious scratching around it. Any ideas / succeses on this ?

try a plastic pick mate like an o-ring pick, there a bit awkward to get out ive used a platic knife before, its possible to hook under them with a thin blade but mind your fingers
