geo not firing

hey guys, im helping my mate out and now asking for help myself

he has a geo and its not firing. ive had a good look and i think its the micro switch because the shot counter isn't registering it either.

what can i do to fix it? cheers

just switched the trigger to swich from opto and it now works, why wont it work on opto?

Just sounds like you need to adjust either your front or rear stop trigger grub screws so the trigger registers shots in opto mode.

All the trigger settings are on page 20 of the Geo manual

i tryed that, adjusted it so it was well out of the senser inside the grip, still no luck

Reset to.factory!
might be the filters not reaching the activation point!

on opto Theres more settings than switch!

first thing to check is make sure you havent got a cut in your eye wire - also take the eye covers off and make sure there is bo dirt in the what so ever as this will cause the opto not to register if there is dirt o them.

If this doesnt work then wind the screws out as suggested and then set the marker back to factory and change the battery to a good quality brand

If the optical isnt working it works the same way as eyes do. So the receiver in the frame is either dirty or or not seeing movement. Treat it the same way as eyes and give is a scrub in the washing up bowl with loads of warm soapy water

ok so i tryed what lump said and put the whole thing in warm soapy water and washed the whole gat......it totally dont work now :/ wonder why


i joke i joke. as it turns out he didnt use the geo over the wekkend, i will get my hands on it again and see if i can sort it, thanks for the help guys

as its my mates and he sodded off back to barrow i havnt had my hands on it, im just waiting to get it off him and sort it out for him, no doubt ill be posting again if it doesnt work
