just spent a couple of minutes cleaning the eyes and bolt on my geo. reassembled everything and went to turn on but no power up. tried 3 different NEW 9v procell batteries with no luck. cant see any loose connections inside. any ideas on the problem. possibly new board time?? thanks

batteries all from the same box? could be a bad box, maybe it got wet or something? try testing with a battery that you have seen working in something else maybe.
a loose wire wouldn't cause it not to power up, but if you have something shorting a contact on the board that would....ie if you have any thing trapped under the board maybe?.
did you take the board out while you were cleaning?

heya jahlad, thanks for the reply m8.

i havent removed the board from the marker, i have removed the bolt and the eye covers for a lil clean down and reassembled, screwed on the air system to check for leaks and no power. i changed the battery incase of a duff but no luck. the marker got slightly wet at last cpps but no where near as bad as round 1 and it kept on working. battery is seated correctly and i cannot see anything broken or missing from the board itself. im stumped to what it could be.

thanks
dave

p.s. ive tested the geo battery in my etha which works fine so definately not a dead cell.

on the subject of my etha. going through the manual shows of 4 presets when it comes to firing modes. (1) uncapped semi, (2) capped semi, (3) psp 2011 and (4) millenium 2010. trying to set the etha to (4) results in the flash 3 times from the LED after saved. i assume that either millenium isnt in my etha or PSP isnt. i did buy in the UK so would assume that the PSP setting is missing. any chance of confirming this for me pls?

All the settings are there bud, if it's flashing 3 times it's in psp.. Enter program mode again. press the trigger 4 times then press the power button once to save... It then should be in millenium, go bk in to program mode and pull the trigger once to identify what fire setting its on, if it flashes 4 times then your in business..

Hope this helps bud :)

etha is sorted. appears that i cant count and it was flashing 4 times all along. please dont take this as meaning that perhaps ive taken my geo into the shower to clean it or perhaps swapped out the internals with something i made in a blue peter style :X
