Hi guys.

Anyone who can help me with this will be worshipped for a month.

My Geo was having problems with the velocity dropping off a lot during bursts, the manual highlights several potential causes so I figured I'd strip the whole thing, replace all the O-Rings and give it a general clean. I've done the bolt and eyes, but now that I've started on the reg, I can't put it back together. The lower half screws in so long as the spring/piston aren't in, but when they are, it gets stuck an inch or so from being flush and resists hard, so I get the feeling I'll break something if I force it.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Different issue, the adjuster screw refuses to be screwed in correctly. The manual doesn't say anything about oiling it, so I'm not even sure how I got it out in the first place now.....

The adjuster screw should be placed from the top and screwed downwards and dont try and screw it in from the bottom of the reg..

Have a look at page 8 of the manual to see a diagram of the reg.. Remember to put the PCV (purge control valve) back it. If it refuses to be screwed in correctly dont force it.

use some PE grease on the o-rings in the reg not oil.

Sorry, I wasn't being specific enough, this is a Geo + I'm talking about. I will have to take some pics for reference.
The adjuster screw still goes in from the "top" as Planet markers are designed to make it impossible to remove adjusters without having the reg apart so you can't accidentally do it while the marker is gassed up :)

If that's not the issue, then yea pics might help hehe
