Geo air leak

hi guys,

got a geo i'm sorting for a team mate as it has an air leak down the barrel, now i've done a complete oring change and its still there the only oring not changed are the ones inside the prop shaft on the prop shaft adjuster assembly,

now my question is how do i remove the adjuster assembly so i can change them

Hello Wolfie

Normally for a barrel leak on the Geo, you need to replace either one of these

1. The front #20 o-ring on the can
2. The inner #17 o-ring on the can
3. The front #14x2 o-ring on the prop shaft

You have 2 o-rings on the prop shaft and the other 2 on either side of the centre prop-shaft are bumper o-rings

yep done all them at least twice, and all the ones inside the solenoid too, its just the 3 inside i've not done cos dont know how to remove the adjuster, but will go over them ones again thanks dude

well just changed all of them again and its still leaking any other ideas ??????????

have you cleaned out the grooves that the o-rings sit in ? they might have dirt/grit in them which is enough to make it not seal

yes mate, its been fully cleaned, i did get it to stop but after firing a few shoots it was back again?now nothing i do stops it baffling me lol

thats weird!! hmmmm ive not owned a geo so i dont know whats going on there. its not anything obvious like a battery is it ?

when you mean the prop shaft adjuster when looking at the Geo diagram you talking about the prop shaft screw? (screw on the back of the prop shaft)

its one the inside the back other prop, it adjusts the amount of air in the chamber
