Hey guys, since the winter began closing in, i have noticed that sometimes (depending on how cold the weather is), my geo2, seems unable to shoot, meaning that some balls simply role out of the end of the barrel, whilst others shoot fine. I have tried changing the bolt o rings, relubing of the bolt... but the problem continues, the gun is perfectly maintained... any ideas?

thanks

Ive had this problem with one of my markers (all be it a dye) I was advised to up the dwell a tiny bit and so far it seems ok. Im sure someone with more knowledge than me can provide better advice but im just saying what i was told to do with my marker.

Dwell sounds like a good idea, ill try that but the dwell is already on stock settings (12.5), tried changing batteries, but no difference :/

Yeah, my marker was on stock dwell and i was told to up it. All i could do before being advised this was check teh reg pressure was ok by adjusting the reg pressure bit by bit and firing. Dont know how much this will help though, like i said mine was a dye.

providing the bolt is sufficiently lubed (but not overlubed) and the battery is fresh and good then just up the dwel when it get's cold, you might loose some efficiency but you will be able to put it back down to stock when it starts getting warmer with no problems

also a lube like hater marmalade may also help as it is disigned for spool valve guns in cold weather, however i have never had a problem with the eclipse grease

hope this helps

okay first of all,you need to consider that in the cold weather the macro line will shrink a tiny little bit and close us abit.
another thing check your bottle is working fine.
i see you have changed your o rings, make sure you have the right size, other wise you are cause unnecessary friction.
you need to check that the solenoid gasket hasn't come loose and need resetting.
(taking your grip frame off to get to it )
then reset your rocket (on the front) hasn't been adjusted and your in-line reg.

any more troubles let me know

thanks
