Gentle on paint

Just bought a fusion f8 and now used about 3 types of paint on it ; midnight, blaze and dxs silver. Both midnight and blaze flew quite nicely but I was watching 1 out of 5 bounce off a bunker and recieved several bounces myself. The silver however just broke in the barrel or flew very erratically and yes, I checked the paint, it was round. All were nicely bored to the stock barrel so I am guessing the gun is too harsh on the more brittle paint. How is it possible to make the gun nicer on paint, in general and specific to the f8?

is it shooting hot, or at 280fps

if you are using the stock barrel - it sucks.

try upgrading

borrow an oversize barrel and see if that cures it. Say around .693

Threg is a little bit too inconsistent for my liking esp as the fusion is supposed to be close to the etek. I was getting like 285 +/- 10 fps so maybe thats an upgrade. Was looking at the redz barrel set, £50 for 3 large backs and 2 tips. Thanks for the help
