Try them both out m8. Also you can now get the G7 with a 45 frame which may sway even more users.

Personally having shot both DM4/5 i cant see (im my oppinion) how you can justify spending the extra money as i don not think the DM5 offers that much more.

G7s rip the shizzle :D

Its a personal preference - ive just got my hands on an 05 speed, and before that i shot a DM4 & i prefere how the DM4 fires.

Look over the facts of each marker as they cycle in very different ways

Go to a tourney and ask folk to try their Gats.. its really the only way to determine whats the best marker for you

As Ryan says i have both markers and to be honest you really do need to try them both, at this end of the market you get the high performance you would expect for your cash from both guns - the G7 costs more (depending on who you know) but you get a bit more for your readies.

G7 - easier to look after - (the fuse bolt of he DM5 needs
constant lubing but this is no real problem)

G7 more air efficient ' out the box'

G7 has ramping modes 'out the box'

G7 screen makes setting dwell, modes, etc easier.

G7 Has Magnetic trigger as stock - this is a personal thing though.

i dont have an issue with the DM5 not having these things but I did change the trigger ,bolt and chip on the DM5 (cp roller, virtue chip and evolve bolt - all personal preference and with exception of the ramping chip not really needed )

which pretty much put it on a price par with the Angel

because both markers are that good the main difference is the feel and for this you need to shoot them both. :)

Personally I prefer the upped DM5 and I've been an Angel fan for a while now

cheers

Edit : i forgot to mention that you can now get the DMC (with ramping) chip from Dye for your DM5 and I believe there a lot cheaper than the Virtue Chip and dont void your warrenty - speak to FLY he's the man in the know.

oh yeh : and having owned a proto which is a fantastic marker I have to say the DM5 pisses all over it :D

and another advantage with the G7 is that you can buy a fantastic condition used one for £650 ;)
