G7 / Fly A one for Mr Allen, pehaps!

My mate has just got himself a g7 fly and was wondering if the port on the board for palm connection works, and if so is the software for programming the same as the one for the IR3. If so does anyone have a copy or know a link that works coz every one i have found is dead???

I dont think that WDP made the palm software for any gat after the IR3. I asked them about it when I had an A4 and the manual kept referring to using a palmpilot, and they said that the software had never existed.

So it looks like it going to be a one of these things that's supported by the board but the software hasn't been written

it's there for them to upgrade the board. Since the ir3 they've been very restrictive with they're software.

when you turn the gun on what version software does it show on the display?

If it is not 1.5A give us or WDP a call and we will upgrade it.

not too sure will have a look next time i see him. Dont think he is overly bothered about version's just looking to see if there is any palm software available general release. because as andydane says it is reffered to in the manual and would be much quicker to set up with a palm (race style) than with the buttons. Not that its an impossible task but the little buttons are hard to see after a couple of pints
