G6R PRESSURE SET UP

Hi all , does anyone know the best way to set up the pressure on this gun i do have a pressure tester but for some reason my lp is 90 and hp 210 ( 285 fps) this seems to be quiet high as some other owners seem to be running at 75 lp and 180 any ideas

Maybe you don't have the low pressure poppet? No idea to be honest

do you have the card that came with the g6r that showed factory pressures? thats usually the best to start with, other wise if not head over to pbnation and look up the lurker method for tunning g6r, many people have had really good success with that.

i do have a low pressure poppit in tthe gun, i have just sent away for the new premium bolt i will have a look at lurker method

You havnt mentioned it .. are you using a low pressure or super low pressure bottle reg?

Zero out both regs
Raise your lpr to about 40
Raise your hpr untill it starts to chrono
Raise your lpr until you get to the fps you require
Fine tune to get consistency

That's what I do

The gauges on the testers arnt the best so if pos it might be worth changing them to a better quality one. The thread size is 1/8

Also clean your reg and lpr if its not new

The premium bolt is good well worth it, lowers the sound signature allot, a bit of a pain to get out though
