Dear WoZ Members.
It was with a very sad heart that I watched the national news last Saturday and heard about the fire at a warehouse in Warwickshire which almost certainly claimed the lives of 4 firemen.
On the news tonight they have found 2 of the missing 3 firemen. What followed was information that one had just become a father and another was married just 3 weeks ago. Have to admit that I was gutted to say the least especially as they believe the fire to have been an arson attack.
Therefore I have decided to make the next walkon a fund raiser.
Basically every penny made on the next walkon will go to the families of those killed whilst tackling the blaze. I have contacted WDP. Planet, Kee Action Sports, Smart Parts and Manic Paintball for donations of kit etc to go into a raffle on the day and again all the profits will go to the firefighters families.
The cost of the day will be £50 and I am going to charge £5.00 per raffle ticket and each player attending is asked to buy at least one. WWP will also be adding a few prizes.
I want to have 100 players attending this event as I want to raise as much as possible.
Now Ladies & Gentlemen dig deep and prove that paintballers care about our emergency services.
