I want to buy a secondhand DM5 that apparently can shoot in full-auto. Since I want it to play rookie tournaments and walk-ons, Do you think that the organizers won't let me use it because it can shot in full-auto?

You'll probably be able to change the settings / chip to make it legal. If its the one off the fs thread your best bet is to ask the seller which modes are on the spare chips that come with the gun.

Thank you for the awnsers. So, you change the firing rate by changing the chip... Is it difficult to do so?

Pull out, plug in, simple as that.

some chips have more than 1 fireing mode, like virtue, tadao, lucky.

The gun comes with all this stuff that I don't know what is:

cobalt 14" tip
virtue ON/OFF button (in tin)
virtue lazer eyes (with tin)
virtue chip (in tin)
tadao chip (boxed)
stock ON/OFF button(in tin)
and stock chip(in tin)

Except the chips, because you already explained it. Could you explain what is the rest of the stuff? and Why would the marker need 3 chips?

Crystal lake
cobalt 14" tip.......................................................Colour of the barrel end, 14 inch of barrel
virtue ON/OFF button (in tin)...............................after market on/off button
virtue lazer eyes (with tin)....................................after market eyes, makes a nice glow in the breach and helps see if the eyes are working
virtue chip (in tin).................................................multi mode chip, and more settings than stock
tadao chip (boxed)................................................as above, just different brand
stock ON/OFF button(in tin)..................................spare button set/membrane pad
and stock chip(in tin)............................................1 fire mode only, and its semi auto, 1 trigger pull 1 ball fired.

The marker will only take 1 chip at a time, the tadao or virtue will be the best bet. Older versions of tadao chips (m3) didnt allow you to go down to 10bps.
