If the paint to barrel match is spot-on, so should your accuracy (speaking in broad terms) The main advantage of the Freak is that if you change the paint you are using, you only have to change the insert, not the whole barrel. With a full Freak set retailing at about one and three quarters of a boomstick, I would go for the Freak, its simple economics. Why have only one and three quarters of a barrel, when you can have seven for the same price!

Just my opinion anyway. Oh by the way, I own a Freak :D

if u caln't afford the full freak u could buy the barrel + 1 insert and then buy the rest when u can afford them(£17 each)
the barrel is still going to be cheaper than a boomy
both are really good but the freak makes more sense
:D

Well.....

I have an 18" Boomstick, and a 10" Freak, and I have to say that the accuracy is just as good on the freak, and it has the added bonus of being able to change inserts, and is more compact.

Freak does in rock.

When you have ball breakage in the barrel a boomie is much easier to clean than a freak!!!!

Not that hard to clean if you 'know how to squegee' a barrel.

Simply meaning a straight shot followed by a fluffy.
