I have no idea but I am thinking of purchasing a a Freak System in a few months. I think it is just cosmetic. Not sure.

it is just cosmetic, but the teardrop front comes in 10' 12' 14' 16' and 18'

the AA front comes in only 14'

i dunno if you brits measure barrel lengths in metric, if so i dunno what the measurements would be. :D

Supposedly.....

....the AA shoots straighter BUT when I tried one it seemed to wing a lil' more than my teardrop did. The teardrop puts a touch of down curl on the ball making it easier to dip balls onto dudes behind bunkers. I prefer the teardrop personally, oh, and it looks way cooler too which is a major reason to buy ANY paintball gear.:D

That's kinda odd AL because when I had my first freak kit I had a teardrop front and it winged to the left. My new AA shoots straight as an arrow. I wonder if it might just be how each tip is made. I agree the teardrop is prettier, but if it ain't broke don't replace it right:D
