freak or boomstick

I just want to see which barrel the majority of people here think is better freak system or dye boomstick

freak is more quantity but not as much quality as boomsticks but boomsticks cost a hell of a lot more than freak barrels do

if you like the freak get a bezerk, its cheeper and has ss incerts not aluminum

Unless you can be sure that you will always use the same size paint every time, it's better to use a Freak type barrel. If you use different paint types the chances are that the size will vary enough to make quite a difference to your velocity consistency with a single-sized barrel. Even different batches of the same paint can vary, so unless you can afford 3-4 Boomies then I would go for the Freak.

The Bizerk system / barrel i dont belive has hit the british shores yet, so i cant comment. and they only come in 8" and 10" although a 12" is rumoured.

Id third the Powerlyte Sceptor vote. Well machined, 6" inserts instread of 4". Self centering inserts. and competatively priced.
