Freak on ETek ?

What are your opinions on this?

I've sourced myself a brand new Etek and it rips but I think the barrel is the only part that needs upgrading.

I considered something along the Stiffi line (for weight) but I have a full Freak Set from my ion (hardly used) so I've ordered the freak back for the Etek so I can use my various fronts that I already own.... planning on possibly getting a carbon stiffi freak front eventually to keep the marker nice and light.

The reason I ask is because, as a result of playing a lot at NQ, I see loads of Egos etc, but don't recall seeing anyone using a Freak Set on them.

i've used a freak on an ego all season and I love it ...if you like it do it

Yeah I love my Freak, I got all the inserts and about 3 fronts (different lengths) so it's the most cost effective option I reckon.

Notorious Kids used freaks on their eteks, think they still do

and you dont see them losing much

As much as it pains me to endorse SP gear I must say the freak is pretty good.

The only worry with a Freak is that the bore mounting o'rings wear. If you change them every now and then you are all good.
