what is the difference between aluminium inserts and stainless steel inserts.

One type is made of aluminium, the other's made from stainless steel.

SS slightly stronger - Alu slightly lighter
SS silver only - Alu coloured
SS more expensive - Alu cheaper
SS shouldn't corrode as quick - Alu will form a thin oxide layer very very slowly (as it's already annodised it will be VERY slow)
