Freak

I can only speak for the freak barrels having never used the others.

It is a very good system, not only can you change the bore size to match your pain but you can change the length as well. I have the full bore set and a 16" barrel, I plan on getting other barrels so that I can create the perfect combination for the paint/field/position etc. I would imagine this would be very expensive to do with fixed barrels.

If you change your marker then all you need to buy is a new "back" section and your away again.

It also means you can use any paint on offer, as you will always get a good paint/barrel match.

Oh, and they look the b******s.

The Freek is a very good system although a few people have had problems with the front end not exactly lining up with the back end... Smart parts has normally just replaced those so it wasn't a real problem. I use a freak and I stick by it, the paint always fits and it is an easily and cost effectivly expandable system. I use a 12" barrel on mine and it is still dead on accuate.

I have not used the Boomstick or the Dye barrels but I will have to agree with everyone else. The FREAK system is amazing. It fits all paint, and you always get a perfect match if you take the time to set it up properly! Fires straight and cleans well if you ever get a break in it. I use an 18" chrome backed FREAK and it looks the bollocks.

yea i'm goin with buddha on this one boomy all the way

but as opposed to the freak, there are other options if your looking for changeable bore sizes (the cp kit is nice but i don't really like the way it looks) and even more then the front and back not lining up on the freak........ after awhile the o-rings that the inserts go in on will wear out and the insert will not line up right either

Opinions are like arses dude, everybody's got one. I can say from experience that the Freak and the Boomstick are both VERY good barrels. My friend has a JT on his Dark 'Cocker, and it seems to be doing pretty good too, but not as good as the others. Try 'em all, and see for yourself.

I have used both the boomstick and the freak, the freak seems to be a little more accurate (i guess due to barrel/paint match) however I do tend to get more barrel breaks than I ever got with the boomstick...
