Freak barrel case lids - broken?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so move me if it needs to be in classifieds...

My lid is broken (the clear bit), and I've seen others that are broken in a similar fashion.

Does anywhere sell the clear plastic inserts separately, or is it a new case time?

I'm actually considering placing an order with a perspex company for some (they won't do them singly) so was curious as to whether anyone would buy the extras off me, and for what price?

If the consensus is "yes" and would cover my costs, I might go ahead with it...

B&Q sell plastic sheet and often it gets broken so they then reduce the price so that "may" be a cheaper option for you.

rather than get somone to make it for you get a sheet of perspex and cut it yourself with a coping saw or an abrafile...shouldnt take more than ten mins

Oh well... down to B&Q for a sheet and a coping/fret saw...

Mark out the size of the lid on the perspex,score a line with a knife along the cut line,place a straight edge underneath the perspex along the cutt line & snap the perspex downward.This will give a nice sharp edge & is much quicker & neater that sawing.Hope this helps.

and probably cut hands if your not carefull! get an abrafile
(dads a cdt teacher i get lectured on this stuff if he sees me doing it)
