Nearer than Frankfurt but believe Luxembourg is closest.
Looking at map Nurbergring is about 70km northeast of Bitburg.

Good news Bad news
Good news- Price £45 at moment, after hidden extras, also late flight Sunday means 1 less day off work and night in hotel.
Bad news- 15kg max luggage, extra kilos cost lots.
Good news- Nearer to Nurburgring than Frankfurt main airport.
Other good news is I can go because late flight Friday means I can be back to run site on Saturday but still get pics of games on Friday.

Our guys a few years ago didnt say anything on the way back. They were pulled aside into security and quetioned for an hour before they were released.
Dunno how to go about it with ryanair as they suck but just some friendly advice.

Germany have really strict gun laws as well, you need a F stamp on your marker or risk losing it on landing!
