ok.... i spent 3 days outta my own life reffin CC... and to come back to a big bunch of moany beggars is quite.... enraging actually...

now i cant comment for other fields, only my own...

but i know we did a damn good job and yet people still moan, so in a flipside to all your 'how crap was the marshallin this year' threads, heres my

'OH MY GOD, ARENT WE A NATION OF SANDBAGGIN, MOANING, WHINGING NO GAMERS' thread....

now that doesnt cover everyone, respec to phoenix factory for 4th place... kellys-you guys looked awesome.. quake-unlucky hombres...

but seriously... the number of poeple who cant handle losing and feel that it cant possibly be their fault is scarily astonishing...

im not gonna name any names... cos if you cant look at yourself and give yourself an honest answer then there isnt a point replyin, as it will be somethin to the effect of 'shut up.. what do you know?!'

flame away.... please

its not like i havent had it for 3 days already...

I do agree that far to many ppl are far to quick to attribute losses and bad games to poor marshalling as opposed to their own short comings. If u have an issue with the marshalling then i see no reason to post it up hear on the boards where the whole world can read it. That just makes the guys who spent the last 3 days of their life working their asses off not want to marshall anymore. And i'd put money on the same ppl who bitch about crapy marshaling being the first to start bitching if they didnt think there were enough marshalls at the next event cos no one wanted to do it. Overall the number of correct calls far outways the number of wrong ones yet all ppl do is focus on the small minority of mess ups. The jags got some bad calls but they were far, far out weighed by the number of good calls.Reffing decisions that you dont agree with is part of the game we play guys and coming on the boards and bitching about it aint gonna change it one dot. If you dont like it, take up golf.

Well I'd a thought tha brits would be pleased...Tigers get their best result of tha season, Shockwave make NPPL semis, Sharks finish final 4 in open X - it's a good result for tha Brits, right?

Or did y'all do **** in 7-Man at London?

Any of these Brits?

7-MAN
Div 1
1 Doriane Golak
2 Consilium Dei
3 Hellwood
4 Phoenix Factory

Div 2
1 Urho
2 Paintoon
3 Knauf
4 Cologne Predator

Div 3
1 Squal
2 Immortals
3 Thai Paintball
4 Jersey Warriors

I guess Jersey and Phoenix?
If thass true and britain only got 2 from 16 at its biggest home event, then I can see why y'all might be a lil pissed - cos thass embarassing.

Jersey is French, so they don't count ;)

Phoenix did well, and without resorting to stupid amounts of name guests like Consillium Dei did a couple of years back.

As for the others...well it is rather disappointing isn't it.

I tell you what, its probably all due to the lack of sponsorship for teams, they should be given more free stuff before they get results as I'm sure if you give Peterborough BumFluf the paint deal of the Ironmen they'd win Div 3 well easy..

Martin - I agree completely mate.

'in ya face baby!'
i cant comment on the 7man teams standard of play, but i can comment on the EXL and Open XBall - and i must say that the standardjust keeps gettin higher and higher! just goes to show what a disciplined training regime does for Brit ball! all the teams that trained hard all season looked good, even when they lost, those that cant be bothered sucked and paid the price!

i just hope that there is hope and that XBall will continue next season, as i feel it is the format that is pushing our game to the top and a very enhanced rate, and i for one am loving it!

can we have a weekend of Chuck? please............... :D

Yeah well what do you expect from a Nation that doesn't go into win tournaments but get "comedy results" ("like we've been playing for 32 years and we got -12 in Division 2" - quoted for truth). Gotta laugh when the jokes on them.

Of course they're going to blame the refs when they get their backdoors smashed in by "Johnny Foreigner" rookie teams. I mean training that's just a stupid idea.
