I heard about gettin "racoon eyes" (dark circles around eyes) from repeditive loud noises, i think thats what it is. if anyone else knows coul you please explain?

At a guess, the shock wave from the detonation might cause burst blood vessels in sensitive areas like the skin around eyes.
Can't say I ever experienced this, depite having a 50. cal Browning HMG firing just inches from head in the enclosed space of an APC.
