Woah! You know this could simply be a genuine mistake. Have you tried sending a pm/e-mail to the person in question? I don't think the answer is to post on here (no matter how mad you are - understandably).

If you are stuck for a bottle - then there are plenty that can help you out (me included) .

I hope you do get this sorted - and it is a genuine mistake - but please choose your words carefully - as, without proof, it is slander.

EDIT : You know you can always got the bottle tested - not ideal - but it will sort the short term problem out!

Have you checked it's 100% out of date?
Put all the details on the bottle on here and someone will check.
With the recent EN standard most people get a longer test than they realise

i bougt this air system off u on the 14th of feb and u told me it had 3 years test left on it when infact that was a lie and it it is out of test now so i am not happy and this is i find very annoying as i paid that cash cause i thought it was going to last me 3 years not 3 months so in my eyes i have been scammed do u enjoy rippin ppl off

The problem is the three year old that has bought the item!!!
There are other ways to sort any problem!!!

Theres alot of miss information and miss guidance about air system tests at the moment, one minute I hear all tests last 3 years next its 5 years, as far as I know its 3 years, but I have seen alot of people advertising bottles saying 4 years test left or something, so can we please have it added to the sticky, to clear things up once and for all what bottle tests are.

thats US law though are you sure about UK? and my dye throttle does not have a DOT code just Pie symbol but it does say 2006/01^^11 so I guess that means 5 years 2006-2011, thanks for the help im never sure.

Throttles are 5 year mate as are all pye rated bottles, HSE or dual test are 3 year as far as I'm aware
