Hi peeps...
Right, been fitting up an E-Blade for someone lately...had to put a 44Ram on it and QEV's. I couldnt get the low preassure hose to go straight on one part without kinking, so decided to undo one of the 90 degree barbs (the ones with a screw through them) on the cocking solenoid. On putting it back how I wanted it...the screw bit snapped...bugger. I didnt over do it as I could see it's only a tiny thing, but it has to be gas tight.
Planet have said that they dont use these type anymore for this reason, and now use verticle ones that use a 4mm nut driver to fit them. So, if you are planning on changing a ram, or fitting a secondhand E-Blade frame etc, make sure that you are either carefull (tho It may be unavoidable) or get some of these replacement barbs beforehand.
