For all you budding video editors out there … 24” iMac

Anyone have an idea what sort of price for a 24” iMac , 2008 model. Had a new apple hard drive fitted last December but is gather dust at the moment

Comes with Lion 10.7.4 and some pre installed software in FCP and office

2GB ram

250 GB hard drive

Hi There

I've seen some 24" macs go upwards of £800 on ebay, but they've been some of the latest models. Since the one you're on about has a small amount of RAM and a pretty small hard drive - unless its an SSD - and I'm guessing FCP 7? (for the love of everything don't upgrade it to FCP X, I think that needs a Sandy Bridge i5 at minimum)

Would probably say around £550ish if I'm honest, but then again, I'm a cheapskate. I made a hackintosh.

I sold my 21.5 quad core i5 with thunderbolt port 3 months old for 600. All it went for on ebay after 21 days ridiculous with over 200 watchers

Lol thats fair enough im from luton area could have been my one. Only sold it because i was living in spain for a while and never used it much. Now just the car to sell.
