Here is a good list of things you will need.
bolt:
1)you can modify the stock bolt and it will work Take out the little
silver insert in the bolt and then sand the front of it so it is
smoothe and kinda rounded. This will make it higher flowing and make
it easier on paint. (wont chop as easy)
2) you can buy a high flow bolt. I would recommend the AKA
lightning. very nice for LP. About $50
valve:
1) turbo valve. they are nice and cheap, about $20. they will work,
but you wont get the operating pressure quite as low as with option
#2.
2) AKA tornado valve. this the king of LP valves. super high flow,
and efficiency, but you pay for it. they are about $70 if you
decide on this valve, make sure you have EVERYTHING you need to go
LP, cause you shouldn't use this valve for over 400PSI (this is what
AKA says. I have had mine at 450 PSI for 6 month and had no
problems)
vert adapter:
1) you can drill out the one you have, just make sure you dont drill
too much or you will drill into the threads that hold the vert in.
(not a big deal, I did this, ooops! you just have to use a little
thread locker to seal it up everytime you take it off)
2) get an aftermarket vert apapt. the AKA mitey max is the best,
very high flow, but again costs the most at about $60. Bob long
makes a nice one too. not sure what that one costs, I think right
around $35
low pressure chamber:
you already have one, so this will not need to be added
high flow reg:
this is where you DO NOT want to go cheap. you can do some of the
other mods yourself and it will work, but this one will make or break
your gun. There are three regs I would recommend for this.
1) AKA sidewinder. very high flow, rock solid regulation. they use
this reg on the excaliber and the revenge. both operate at under 200
PSI, so this reg works wonders. about $100
2) macdev gladiator. very similar design to the AKA reg. Also about
$100.
3) Palmers stabelizer. very good reg with a great rep. many people
use this reg for LP. if you cant find the other two, go with this.
it is not quite as high flow as the others, but still a very good
reg.
highflow tank:
I would recommend getting an HPA tank. you can use co2, but it wont
perform as well as a HPA system will. You can get a basic one for
about $70-150. Or something really nice for about $200-500.
highflow hose:
steel braided lines or macro-hose from your bottomline to your reg
will work very well. DO NOT use micro-line. it is too small and
will restrict airflow (see the high flow theme here?!?) Also take
out those little airfilters that kingman puts in the bottomline.
they restrict air too much. (and really dont do anything, if you go
to HPA)
spring kit:
this is the most overlooked item when people try to do a LP system.
get the maddman spring kit. it is $10 and has 3 main springs, 2
valve springs (1 that will fit your gun) replacment sear spring, and
a lighter trigger spring. What you want to do is use the valve
spring they have in the kit for the compact body(which is what the
TL+ has). it is really light and will allow the valve to open much
easier. then you will have to experiment with air pressure and
spring pressure on the main spring and the reg. this is where the
frusterating and fiddley part of doing the LP mod comes into play.
you may have to mess with it a little, but you will get it right
eventually. (note: you may HAVE to have a ball in the breech to make
it recock correctly. )
