Just a quick one since I'm buying some new boots 2moro for using at tournys. (Masters/Camapign/Dam etc)

Are their any rules about footwear that don't allow football boots with "blade" studs?, also these blades would be metal if that matters...

Just I forget and I don't wanna spend loads of money then be told I've gotta wear my trainers :p

Cheer's :)

(As Sonic knows all too well, I left American football after 16 years to play Paintball)
My neoprene American Footballs pants are the best slide shorts you could dream of and my Nike Air Sharks have served me well in both sports though i'm trying some adidas astro shoes out this summer
Check out www.eastbay.com for some great bargains
A lot of my ex-team mates at the Yorkshire Rams still import stuff from there

a lot of tournies ban metal studs incase they catch the bunkers, its more aimed at tubed fields really but the rule does exist, american football boots are great, as are hockey boots, but if you want something super comfy i recommend a pair of vans playing shoes £45 from planet i think

in my opinion, blades are much better than studs. I purchased a nice bling pair of Nike boots from their site, customised with my name, number and own colour choice. Im not saying go out and spend 130quid like I did, as mine were used for football and rugby too. But if you find a pair, the non metal blades are perfect to play in, lots of grip, studs dont start pushing up through the sole and killing your feet, and best of all, they dont fall out like studs do.
you can pick up a decent pair of Nike total 90's for under 50quid im sure, have a look down JJB, theres plenty to choose from :)

If you are going to bet bladed boots you are gonna have to get plastic ones, ive got a pair of Diadora ones with plastic studs and im ok to wear them for the PA.
