Fogging goggles...

I keep fogging up my profilers for some reason. Theres nothing wrong with them, as my wife wears them and they don't fog up. But as soon as I put the things on they fog like crazy??!! :(

Bit annoying as they are way more comfortable and allow me to see a lot easier than my Profilers (which incidently never fog up)...

Tried the JT goggle spray. It seems to do the job but only for a short period of time (about an hour or so).

Anyone suggest anything else that will cure the problem? :)

Any help appreciated

When your putting the JT spray on the googles are you letting the stuff dry off or wiping away right after?

If your not already try letting the stuff dry off for a few minutes before putting it back one, should last longer that way, if all else fails just put the spray on before every game or buy a new lens :)

Problem is Graham non of the lenses on V-force goggles are thermal. They just have an 'anti fog coating' :(

Will try and leave the JT stuff on a bit longer and see if that is any better :)

Hummm same prob as we have with the site masks then in rain/winter, like I said just leave the spray on the inside of the lens for about 5mins so it drys to make a anti fog layer :)

Yeah don't have a problem when it is dry, nice weather. Only if it is raining or the air is damp :(

When you spray the gogg spray on then do you wipe it off at all or just let it dry naturally?

Get some paper towel and spray until damp, then simply wipe over the inside of the lens till all is covered with a thin layer then just let dry for a while.

Works on site a treat even in the rain :D

so what goggles are we talking about?

you said your profilers fog up, and then they never fog up :D

you could do the tried and tested method of spitting on the lense and wiping it over it (sick but it works for me when i go diving!)

anti fog sprays rarely work anyway

Jon:)

for me and my invisions, and any other mask really, spitting is the cheapest and for me the most effective way of stopping/minimising fogging up of your goggles.
works for me with my diving mask, and for my pball goggles, so should work for you guys too...besides the anti-fog foam or spray never really works for me lol...waste of money.
