Hi m8,

Depends on the airline, some will not allow you to take paintball gear, others will just x-ray the bag and just check that you have emptied the bottles by taking the valve off. Some say don't tell them anything but I have always thought that the best thing to do is simply ask what there policy is when you book. There is a travel agent that we have started to use for booking Paintball related stuff we just get them to sort it (Off Broadway Travel 0208 959 1166 )

He must be careful about weight aswell. A heavy kit bag can add major bucks to the flight bill. I suggest he wears everything he owns, and pack a big hand luggage bag. The main kit bag should be as light as possible.

As for markers, the best thing to do is check with the airline company first. Then make sure he puts a copy of PGI in the bag with the gun and EMPTY bottle. If he is pulled aside he can try to explain and a PGI will be able to help. Plus pre-ringing and getting a name of someone he spoke to or an acceptance email will be beneficial.

Try not to pretend mug any security gaurds/police.
Don't joke about guns, barrels, bullets, terrorists etc.

There is one indoor field in Geneva that I never go to because it is too expensive and their is no walk on.

Fred Halmone just opened a small field on the French border with a little speed ball for rentals and he will sometimes set up some Airball bunkers for some tech training. He is working on creating more space to set up a whole airball field. He will then run trainings and maybe some clinics.

Otherwise there is a field in Ste-Croix (Vaud) run by a really nice guy called Francois that works with CD-Sportz, about 1hour 1/2 from Geneva. I think thats where the RodeurS will be training as of now. Alot of rookies play there as well and you can walk on. Airball.

There is a field in Riedbach (Bern) run by team Capital (really nice guys as well) where we sometimes train, also 1 hour 1/2 from Geneva. Airball.

I'm not too familiar with the recball scene. I know there is one bunch of guys that play in the forest, nice guys, but they play in the Jura which is 3 hours 1/2 from GVA.

Simple.......

Unscrew the bottle from the airsystem,

Dont carry paint in the same bag, airlines don`t like that.

Keep a magazine at the top of the bag so you can show staff what the kit is for.

Be prepared to have your bag empted and searched, only happened to me once and I travelled abroad loads last year.

o and lastly try not to get to upset when security empty your bag and then put everything back in on top of your recently purchased shocker and scratch it...... these things happen, dam spanish airport security.

Hope it helps.
