HI - remove the reg from your air system, put a copy of a paintball mag on top of your marker,so customs etc can see what it is,pack well & put it in your luggage.Advise the airline at time of booking in that you have electronic goods or a paintball marker in your luggage.A email to the airline before is best so you have written proof that they agree.I have flown from the usa several times now & had no problems at all.Hope this helps.:) :) :)

as said above...take a copy of pgi with you, disasemble your marker etc

BUT you may have a prob with your tanks....as you are from the us im guessing your tanks are dot tested and therefore it is illegal to fill them in the uk....check out the 100 or so other threads about this.

Take the bottle off, and pack it in your suit case, the one you check in. Don't bother to tell the check in clerk about it, you arn't doing anything illegal, so you can avoid the hassle with security by just not saying anything.
I was advised by two different airlines that i should simply pack my bottle in this manner.

the guys from H Pac at the indoor said that it was illegal for them to fill the dot bottles, but that they had a big K Size cylinder which the Dot bottle owner was allowed to use themselves to fill their own bottles. Not sure how who fills the bottle makes a difference, but hey, thats the way that it is, so you will be able to get it filled in the UK, as long as you dont get a commercial company to fill it, and you do it yourself. Hope thats clear, not sure if it makes sense, but UK law rarely makes sense!!!

By The Way - Don't ever call your marker a gun!! I know most people know, but things can slip when trying to tell outsiders what a marker is...

I once seen on tv a documentary from Heathrow a guy said he was carrying a machinegun (he had a violin case) when he was checking in and they didn't treat him nice!!

Don't scare the persons in the check-in - it isn't worth it...
