Flying abroad with paintball equipment

Hey guys , i´m going abroad very soon , will fly from gatwick to porto anyone knows if i can take my marker with me as a checked in baggage ?

Anyone did it before that can please free my mind of this concern ?
if not i will need to post by mail ...

Short of it. Yes, you can take your paintball gear no problem. Just make sure everything is degassed and the tank is completely empty. Don't mention anything about your equipment unless asked directly what something in your bag is - it just confuses the poor airport staff. ;)

everything went fine with easy jet ... no questions asked ...

the only problem i had on this travel was that when i get to Portugal , got the notice that the tourney was cancelled due to weather conditions ... BAHHHH nonsense ... wont go there again :cool:
